A wall mural turns one wall into a single large image: a landscape, a botanical scene, a city skyline or an abstract composition. Unlike repeating wallpaper, a mural is printed as a set of panels that fit together into one picture.

Each mural is made in a set size, listed on the product. Measure your wall's width and height and choose a mural that is equal to or slightly larger than the wall, so you can trim the edges; a mural smaller than the wall leaves a border you will have to plan for.
Think about what will sit in front of it. Sofas, beds and desks hide the bottom third of the image, so pick a design whose focal point sits higher up.
Murals need a smooth, clean, primed wall. Fill and sand dents, prime patched areas, and remove switch plates before hanging. Panels are numbered and hung in order, usually left to right.
